OOTD #5: School Spirit!

I am so bad at this blogging thing... I don't think I have posted a new blog on time yet and I am so sorry.  I promise that I will do better!  On the bright side, I have just reached 100 page views! That is amazing!! Thank you so much, it brings a huge smile to my face to see the number rising! :)  Alright, now time for the fashion.  Today I wanted to wear shorts since I don't know when the weather will start cooling off and I want to take advantage of this hot weather! Also, I now have my nice camera so the pictures will be even better! Yay! :)

 Alright, so my outfit was super simple today, but I thought it may give some people inspiration on how to wear high-waisted shorts and also look cute while sporting their school colors.  So the shirt is from the LAX bookstore, but I am sure you can find similar shirts in stores.  I have pictured these shorts before, they are my Almost Famous high-waisted shorts that I wore in my first OOTD post.  They are honestly the comfiest shorts ever!  Lastly, my sandals are from Target and are by the brand Sam & Libby.  I bought them last year but you can find brown gladiator sandals anywhere if you want a similar pair!

 I kept my makeup very simple today since I thought my eyes really popped today and that I really didn't need anything else to complete my outfit.  Comfy and simple, but definitely not boring or ordinary!

OOTD #4: Black and White Floral

Hello lovelies! I feel really bad for making you wait so long for my 3rd OOTD so I decided to post even more! Yesterday I wore one of my go-to outfits that is super simple to recreate and is kind of edgy and girly at the same time.  I'm sorry that there is only one picture, I took these late at night and I just wanted to go to bed so I quickly snapped a few.  The shirt I am wearing is by the brand So and I love it so much! It is long enough to cover my butt without being like a dress! It also comes in a bunch of different colors.  I bought it at Kohls for 15 dollars along with a white one and a lavender.  The necklace I am wearing is from Maurice's, and was 15 dollars which I know is a bit pricey but I have seen necklaces similar to this at Wet Seal and Rue 21 before so there are less expensive options.  The jeans are from American Eagle and are my absolute favorite jeans that I own! I love how they are an off-white so you can wear so many different colors with them and It won't look "too bright".  I think they are perfect for any season and were 30 dollars I believe.  Now, the boots.  These boots are my baby! I love them so so much! I purchased these off of amazon and are the brand Breckelle.  You can buy them here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FEL4GL4/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .  I wear them all the time and they are so comfortable and just so cute! I will warn you that when you walk the buckles and the metal "beads" jingle when you walk, so you will definitely turn heads ;).  Love it!

OOTD #3: Yellow Skinny Jeans

Hey everyone! I am so sorry for not posting sooner but I got a little caught up in my mound of homework.  Today I wore an outfit that was very relaxed but still cute. I think this is an outfit that anyone can recreate and is great for those warmer days when you do not feel like wearing shorts. 

 My headband is from Charlotte Russe and is so summery and bright! I almost was afraid to buy it since I didn't know if I could pull it off, but I am so glad I did! It really brightens up any outfit and is a great accessory for spring and summer! The shirt I am wearing is by Mudd and it has an open back and is so airy and pretty.  I wish I took a picture of it! Oops! Well here is a picture of it online.  I wore a white bandeau underneath mine.
My pastel yellow skinny jeans are from American Eagle and are becoming one of my favorite pairs of jeans.  At first, when my mom bought them for me I was a little unsure about them.  I did not know what to wear with them and so they sat at the back of my closet.  Now they are definitely worn a lot! I love wearing them in the summer but I am trying to think of ways to incorporate them into my fall and winter wardrobes as well, let me know if you have any ideas! :)

Lastly, the shoes.  Sorry I was barefoot in my picture. I ended up wearing my slip-on Converse which are on the left but, you could also pair this outfit with sandals or Toms (shown on the right).  Any shoes would work with it so get creative! :)
